Body painting and me a story about freedom body and colors I never thought that one day I would stand almost naked in front of a mirror covered in colors and feel invulnerable The first time I tried body painting was by accident a friend dragged me to a festival and there was an artist who was painting on people right on the street I doubted it It was scary awkward But at some point I just said Yes And you know what It was one of the most powerful moments of self-acceptance Body painting is not about getting naked or showing your body It s about seeing yourself differently I watched the color fill the curves lines moles and suddenly realized that my body is more than just a shell It is a part of history A canvas that breathes Since then I ve done body art several times - for a photo shoot for an art project and just for myself And every time it s like therapy You erase boundaries remove masks allow yourself to be It s not about ideal forms It s about honesty About the color inside And about how beautiful it is to be yourself
