I ve been out at the mine a lot lately but not for gold this time I ve started building a little bushcraft shelter out here Basically I m digging into the hill clearing frozen ground chopping through clay hauling wood and trying to build a fully off-grid little cabin that stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter It s my first real shelter build I ve made plenty of little forts before but never something like this It s hard work but there s something kind of addicting about it You feel the ground give under the pickaxe you stack logs you see it actually becoming real
