Today I decided to slow down a bit and dedicate some time to myself The morning was hectic so I thought it was time to do something pleasant and relaxing I grabbed some paper markers and started drawing My inspiration was a cute little turtle which symbolizes peace and tranquility As I was drawing I felt my thoughts becoming more organized and my mood lifting Creativity always helps me reset When the drawing was finished I looked at it and smiled But then another thought came to mind why not continue this day with a little more self-care The decision came instantly I m heading to the beauty salon For me a pedicure is not just foot care it s a whole ritual of relaxation The salon is always cozy smells lovely and the master works so skillfully that I forget about everything else Now I m looking at my beautifully groomed nails and thinking what a wonderful day this turned out to be A little creativity a little self-care it seems like the perfect balance And in the evening perhaps I ll treat myself to a cup of aromatic tea and a good book
