Despite my love of homemade breakfasts I still think about that one breakfast I had in Greece on a tiny island We were sitting in this cozy caf right by the sea There was no one around just the sound of waves and a few seagulls in the distance The table had freshly baked bread that smelled like it just came out of the oven It came with local honey thick Greek yogurt and the sweetest juiciest figs I ve ever tasted in my life It was so simple but that s what made it magical I sat there taking in the views the flavors the quietness and I felt this deep happiness inside me It s a moment I ll never forget
