Painting has always been a part of who I am Like most kids I started with simple doodles but somehow I was pretty good at it right from the start My parents noticed and supported my passion and as I grew I fell in love with it even more In school I took art classes and later when I studied architecture at university I dove deeper into composition painting and drawing Those years solidified my bond with art My favorite medium Acrylic It lets me experiment layering covering reworking ideas until they feel just right Acrylic dries quickly unlike oil paints so the process feels dynamic and alive For me painting with acrylic is about more than creating art it s about living every detail and letting the process unfold When I started tattooing painting on canvas took a backseat My time was consumed with sketches designs and perfecting my style But a couple of years ago I decided it was time to bring painting back into my life I bought an easel paints and canvases and now I paint whenever inspiration strikes It s become my personal retreat I put on my favorite music pick up a brush and immerse myself in the process for hours It s that beautiful flow state where time disappears and you re completely in the moment For me painting isn t just about creating something visually beautiful it s a way to connect with myself and my emotions I don t paint every day but I always return to the canvas when I m craving something real and honest What about you How do you make time for yourself Do you have a hobby or activity that fills you with joy and energy I d love to hear your stories in the comments
