Books Oh you mean those things gathering dust while I scroll my phone Lately I ll sit down all motivated to read the book s right there looking at me practically begging to be opened And then my phone s like Hey just check me for one second Boom 45 minutes later I m deep into reels memes and random Google searches like Do penguins have knees It s not even that I don t want to read Books are great they pull you in make you think take you to another world But phones Phones are like Why spend hours on one story when you can have 100 tiny dopamine hits in the same time I miss the days when I could lose myself in a book for hours Now it s like my brain is rewired for quick shiny things Anybody else in the same boat Or are y all still out here finishing novels like it s no big deal vs who s winning for you
