This is a photograph by Mike Dempsey We took this somewhere up in the Los Angeles National Forest Four of us in 2020 sometime We were all itching to create Mike has a fantastical element to all of his work from a mural of airborne people getting caught up in a storm of flying bananas of which I am also part to a 100-day self portrait series where he is abnormally mid-fall in the most normal of settings He came up as a professional roller skater runs in the crowd of cinematographers who film while on blades and incorporates an element of woah what s going to happen next into every project I m always happy to work with him as he s always a joy and always has something unique brewing for what comes next Thought you d like to see and know a bit more
