okay let me start by saying i have no knowledge of what i m doing here i used to draw dinosaurs freehand looking at reference pictures and i was pretty natural at that and also never pursued it further BUT i currently desire to be a great painter by the time I m in my 60s so i figure I d start learning now-ish I was introduced to a new art class that I ll most likely model for and they invited me to a workshop to feel the vibe of the space it is super old school zero phones or cameras allowed except by studio and specific materials are required anyway I got to sit in on the first half of a class the other day and what a WILD FEELING to be sitting on the other side of the model How cool I m looking at her and thinking like omg thats what I do and I immediately wanted to take care of her then I watched and doodled the paying students as they learned the lesson by the instructor he was saying words I had no concept for and I watched as he turned a wonky heptagon into a person via the models reference pose it was astounding I wish I could have taken photos to show you I tried doodling the rough version of what he did top right of the second page it includes all the concepts he was speaking on I am hoping I am learning through osmosis
