My first experience making sushi I recently decided to try my hand at something completely new to me - making sushi I never thought it would be so exciting and challenging at the same time It started with a trip to the store where I spent a long time choosing the perfect rice the freshest produce and of course a bamboo twisting mat In the kitchen I turned into a real chef trying to comprehend all the intricacies of Japanese cuisine At first I thought I was pretty good at it but funny enough my first roll looked like a little piece of abstract art However with each new roll I got more and more confident In the end even though it wasn t perfect it was pretty darn tasty I feel like this experience was the start of something new in my life - I ll definitely be experimenting in the kitchen more often now Have you ever tried making sushi at home What are your impressions
