It s January 12 and tomorrow is my sterilization surgery God DAMN am I excited to cement my bodily autonomy and to NEVER have to worry about accessing or affording birth control ever again in my life This is pretty much my first surgery ever so I have no idea what to expect in terms of recovery I mean I ve read up on what to expect plenty I just don t know on a subjective level how tired or sore I ll feel for the first week after my abdomen gets the slicey-slice Thus I ve prepared so I can basically just sleep read and focus on recovering this week I made myself a delicious veggie soup and froze portions of it so I won t have to do much to have warm nutritious food and I ve scheduled some wonderful posts for you Your video for next Saturday is on deck too While I m focusing on healing please enjoy another little journey through our pics from the trip to the cozy cabin There are so many good ones I m happy to share these warm memories with you May they help keep you cozy this week
