Hey Today I want to share my story you know I spent several months learning at a driving school because I m trying to get my license and buy a car So I ve failed my practical driving test for the third time I got true the theory test on my first attempt which was a big achievement for me I truly love driving worked hard and trained a lot I enjoy the process of driving itself and dream of getting my license not just for the sake of it but because it brings me joy However the practical part turned out to be more challenging than I expected Here s a more detailed breakdown of each attempt First attempt Everything was going well until the final exercise reversing into a garage I focused on the mirrors to make sure the wheels didn t hit the curb and completely forgot to watch the front of the car As a result the front wasn t properly aligned and the side of the car hit an obstacle This is considered a serious mistake equivalent to an accident so the test ended immediately It was really frustrating because I knew I could have done it right if I hadn t lost focus on that crucial part Second attempt The mistake happened during the right parallel parking I didn t pull in far enough so part of my car remained on the road I honestly felt that the situation was fixable I could have simply adjusted the parking just like drivers do in real life But the examiner immediately considered it a critical mistake and ended the test That decision felt too harsh and unfair to me Third attempt This was the most stressful attempt because I had to take the test on a completely different car It was longer and handled differently compared to the one I had trained on from the beginning The examiner allowed me to drive forward and backward a bit to get used to it but it wasn t enough Due to nerves and the unfamiliar feel of the car I ended up making the same mistake during parking by not pulling in far enough I should also mention that every attempt after the first one is paid And honestly it sometimes feels like the system benefits from people retaking the test over and over But I m not giving up I love driving and I m determined to get my license Thank you for reading and supporting me P S Maybe they just like it when I come to them to retake the exam I m kidding
