Fun Fact Posting this week s throwback Painted Soles reminded me I did something similar in high school for a senior art project We were tasked with creating a permanent art installation for the school using handmade ceramic tiles Each tile had a theme influential people famous landmarks self portrait body parts etc Obviously I chose the foot for my body part and wanted to use my own foot print to create my tile I took my shoe and sock off in the art room and painted the sole of my foot to make a foot print I then used that foot print as a template for my tile As a foot fetishist I m proud to say the sole of my left foot is now permanently hanging on a wall in my high school for future generations and fetishists alike to see
