My neighbors just put some baby pigs out in their field and they are SO CUTE and they come over every time I walk by with my dog and I love them so much They re Mangalica pigs which are these really interesting pigs that are covered in fluff google them they re so cool looking and I like them so much Keeping farm animals like pigs seems like such a good time but I suppose if you re keeping them for meat at some point you have to take them to the slaughterhouse On the one hand it s obviously far more ethical to keep animals for meat compared to how animals are treated in most commercial farms but it s still difficult to wrap your head around forming a bond with these animals before you eat them
