Hey everyone As you may or may not know I ve been sick since mid May I ve been to 5 different doctors 3 ERs and been diagnosed with loads of wrong things Finally last night in agonizing pain I came to the realization only a tooth can cause this much pain I went to the ER and demanded they check me for it and surprise surprise my right bottom wisdom tooth is severely infected Today I went to the emergency dentist and they said it s so badly infected it s into the two major nerves in my jaw I ve lost all sense of small and most of my sense of taste The dentist said it s so bad I m going to need to go to a specialty university clinic They re going to have to shave the infected bone which may cause it to break Everything in blue has to be removed or drained including the tooth This is very likely to cause permanent irreversible nerve damage I m so upset My doctors completely failed me on this I M the only reason they aren t still scratching their heads Insurance will only cover a portion of this dental work I m not sure what I m going to do as I ve been unable to work for weeks already If they break my jaw it ll be at least 6 more weeks Oh and they can t get me in right away
