Today I finally went back to the gym after a long break Honestly I was a bit nervous before starting my workout but that feeling quickly turned into pure enjoyment The first thing I did was create a light program to ease back into the rhythm I started with some cardio on the treadmill a light jog with my favorite music in my headphones HardStyle gave me energy and tracks by Rihanna and Billie Eilish made it even more exciting After warming up I moved on to strength exercises I ve always enjoyed basic bodyweight exercises squats planks and push-ups Of course I added some work on the machines too they helped me focus on my leg and back muscles I finished the workout with a good stretch This was the most enjoyable part I imagined myself dancing in my favorite styles dancehall afro and high heels and even moved a little to the music This approach made the cool-down both relaxing and inspiring
