One of my days on the beach I went to a spot that was the most crowded beach I have EVER seen People were sitting and laying almost shoulder to shoulder The ocean was dotted with heads almost as if the water had been salted with a shaker I looked around and wondered how many other people might have pages on a site like this It seemed obvious that some people were taking selfies and some were openly being followed around by a camera but the majority of us were just chilling on the beach Kind of like studying the stars and guessing what may or may not be circling around each of them I do the same with people The pretty girl sunning next to me could be instagram famous or the guy throwing a football might have a cooking channel Likewise someone smiling at the view of the ocean might be struggling with a personal dilemma but enjoying a moment reflecting over the ocean The point is it s intriguing not knowing everything about the ones around us It s also a reason to make a point to be kind to everyone you see maybe your kindness will lead to some positive future impact that wouldn t manifest had you not smiled back when another s eyes met yours Perhaps your presence and energy is the only soft spot in someone s day It serves us all well to be someone who wonders and considers everyone is worth trying to understand Somewhere I read that the people I look up to I have never given a reason to not like me What if we tried to develop this mindset for the people who you don t know enough about to look up to yet You might just discover that those people around you who maybe appear a little ordinary at first are some of the most interesting and wonderful people that you just don t know enough about yet to look up to This is another way our mindset could help change the way we treat others and our mindset on how we act what we do and what we think is what changes the world People are people and I think we should all judge a little less and enjoy a little more of each other Just my hump day 2 cents
