Last year s Ukrainian strawberries are liking the warm weather in my greenhouse I m really excited to have 2 of these very rare varieties from Ukraine as they re no longer available for sale anywhere I ve nurtured them all winter and the big one in the front has 2 long runners and lots of healthy leaves so I m expecting fruit I ve already started lots of new alpines this year as well and they re in video 2 The first batch is putting out its first true leaves and I ve been starting one or 2 varieties a week for a month now so lots more to come I am excited to get to grow and share these berries within my local community I m trying my best to be extremely careful with the plants so that they will make many babies as that s the only way to get true genetics easily and hopefully tasty fruit
