Hanoi turned out to be such a vibrant city But there are a few slightly scary moments too haha While I was walking in the park one evening I saw two huge rats dart out of the bushes and run across the path right in front of me I was so scared haha I also noticed the air in the city is quite polluted At the hotel they told me that sometimes Hanoi has days when the air is the most polluted in the world But aside from that I m really enjoying everything the people here are incredibly kind and welcoming especially the kids When they see me they say hello in English and try to show off all their language skills asking how I am and what my name is It s so sweet The contrasts in this city are just wild one moment I m walking past a huge Louis Vuitton store and a few minutes later I see an old man sitting naked on a stool washing himself right on the street in front of his house It s actually really interesting how homes are set up here and how personal space is understood In many houses there s no wall on the ground floor at all so u can literally see everything happening inside from the street Someone s watching TV on the couch someone s cooking in the kitchen or there s a grandpa taking a bath haha I have so many impressions Btw the vegan restaurant from the Michelin guide turned out to be amazing What surprised me most was the dessert it was salty The restaurant is called C m A must-visit PS I sent a reminder about this set PPS Waiting for your likes Thank u OliviaCasta Boobs
