We are still waiting for the Dr to tell us if my son can get his chest tubes out today and go home We were frustrated at first but then talked about how far my son has come and how we are almost at the finish line We decided it s important to stay positive since he worked so hard to get to today We have been busy changing his sheets returning our DVD s from movie nights and giving him a sponge bath I also took a nice shower and washed my kitty My son is working on his chemistry and I m helping him write in his notebook since that angle hurts with the chest tubes still inside of his chest He asked for an extension but they denied it so it is due January 11th Wish him luck Aww the nurses said they will miss us
